Sinai Bombings


The 2004 Sinai bombings were three bombs that had a target on tourist hotels in the Sinai Peninsula Egypt on October 7th 2004. The bombings killed 34 people and injured 171 people. The explosions happened on October 7 against the Hilton Taba by Israelis. In the attack a truck smashed into the lobby of the Hotel and blew up killing 31 people and injuring 159. Ten floors of the Hotel completely fell apart from the explosion. The different people died were 15 Egyptians, 12 were from Israel, 2 from Italy, 1 from Russia and 1 was an Israeli American.
