Pentagon Attack


September 11th 2001 the attack on Pentagon killed a total of 2,992 people. The attack was done by an American Airlines Flight 77. The plane was led to hit the Pentagon. The plane took off at 8:20am and at 8:46 it flew normally and turned around when it reached the Ohio state border at 9:00 and at 9:33 it hit the pentagon by flying at 400 miles per hour and dropping 7000 feet which increased its speed to 480 miles per hour. The plane came so low that it cut off trees and light posts before it hit the pentagon.

Sinai Bombings


The 2004 Sinai bombings were three bombs that had a target on tourist hotels in the Sinai Peninsula Egypt on October 7th 2004. The bombings killed 34 people and injured 171 people. The explosions happened on October 7 against the Hilton Taba by Israelis. In the attack a truck smashed into the lobby of the Hotel and blew up killing 31 people and injuring 159. Ten floors of the Hotel completely fell apart from the explosion. The different people died were 15 Egyptians, 12 were from Israel, 2 from Italy, 1 from Russia and 1 was an Israeli American.

Istanbul bombings


The 2003 Istanbul bombings were four trucks that blew them selves up out on November 15 2003 and November on 20 2003 in Istanbul and Turkey leaving 57 people dead and 700 wounded. Al-Qaeda has said that they are responsible for the attack and lots of people have been arrested for being involved in this attack. On November 15 2003 two trucks filled with explosives rammed into the Bet Israel and Neve Shalom synagogues in Istanbul and Turkey and exploded. The explosions completely destroyed the synagogues and killed twenty seven people most of them Turkish Muslims and injured more than 300 others. Six Jews were among the dead.

Ghriba Synagogue Bombings


The Ghriba synagogue bombing was a very scary bombing that happened in Tunisia by al-Qaeda on the El Ghriba synagogue.On April 11 2002 a natural gas truck full with explosives went through the security check at the ancient Ghriba Synagogue on the Tunisian island of Djerba.The truck blew it self up at the front of the synagogue killing 14 German tourists, six Tunisians and one French man and 30 others were wounded. This was all done by a 24 year old man named Nizar Nawar who was the suicide bomber that blew up the truck.

Casablanca bombings


The 2003 Casablanca bombings was lots of suicide bombings on May 16th 2003 in Casablanca Morocco. The attacks were the deadliest terrorist attacks in the country's history. More than 100 injured The suicide bombers came from the shanty towns of Sidi Moumen, a poor suburb of Casablanca, and were from the Salafia Jihadia group. The 14 bombers most between 20 and 24 bombed several places. The night of May the 16th. In the deadliest attack the bombers were wearing explosives and knifed a guard at the Casa de España restaurant. They blew themselves up inside the building killing 20 people many of them dining and playing bingo. All 12 bombers died and 33 civilians. Two bombers were arrested before they could blow them selves up. More than 100 people were injured. Eight of the dead were Europeans, three Spanish and the rest were Moroccan.

Madrid Train Bombings


The 11 March 2004 Madrid train bombings also known as 3/11 was of a series of coordinated bombings against the Cercanías system of Madrid, Spain on the morning of 11 March 2004 three days before Spain's general elections, killing 191 people and injuring 2050.
